I’m stoked to organise an Introduction Outdoor Photography Workshop in collaboration with the incredible people from the Nomads Bus. This weekend workshop starts from the very beginning of a photographer’s journey and is aimed to improve your photography skills. All you need is an interest in photography, have a DSLR or a (mirrorless) camera with manual settings and like outdoor adventures.
The Concept
This outdoor photography weekend workshop is perfect for those who own a camera but only use the automatic settings, but want te learn more about your camera settings. After this weekend you will take better photo’s. We will use the Nomads Bus as our basecamp and explore the Ardennes during this workshop.

Costs: Pay what you want. The photography workshop is at a no pre-defined cost, but are based on the ‘donativo principle’, meaning that at the end of the weekend you are free to donate a contribution to your liking.
About the Outdoor Photography Workshop
The workshop starts Friday night with some background information and Saturday & Sunday we use most of the day to practice with our camera’s. After this weekend you don’t have to use the automatic settings of your DSLR/mirrorless camera anymore and you will be able to have better control over your camera. The workshop will be mostly practical, with different and fun activities that help you to better understand your camera and take better photos. You will learn how to use the exposure triangle – aperture, shutter speed and ISO and learn how to make better photos.
We will use the beautiful Ardennes as our playground, where you will learn a variety of photography skill sets. This workshop is for those who want to have fun and learn more about photography, while enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the Nomads Bus.

The Nomads Bus
The Nomads Bus an old American Schoolbus transformed into a hostel on wheels. It’s run by Tim, Valerie, their 2 kids and Lewis the dog. This amazing family travels through Europe with people hopping on and off, giving travellers the opportunity to experience what it is like to live a life on wheels. During the workshop you will eat and sleep on board this American Beauty.
About Rein
Rein is an award winning professional adventure photographer and active nature lover. Rein travelled with the Nomads bus various times and he loves spending time in the outdoors.
